Hi there,
I’m Arlene Hagley, founder of Live Fabulous Travel. Hailing from the beautiful twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, my very first international flight was from my island to New York City at the tender age of seventeen. I was in awe of the big city, and the experience encouraged me to be adventurous, fueling a desire to travel more.
During my college years, I seized every opportunity to experience local cultures, and enjoy beautiful vistas from Europe, Africa to the Caribbean. I firmly believe that if you want to get out there and explore the world’s most beautiful destinations, you shouldn’t have to sit around and wait for a travel buddy.
As an avid solo female traveler, as much as I loved the thrill of seeing beautiful landscapes and immersing myself in fascinating cultures, I wanted to share these adventures with good friends.
Over my travel career, I began to realize that women were wasting their time waiting for partners or friends to join them on trips, missing out on incredible opportunities, and that wasn’t right. As a professional travel advisor, I am committed to helping women who feel unsure and uncomfortable about traveling alone, feel excited, supported and inspired by creating small group trip experiences for women only.
